Searching arround on the net I found this awesome site. I’m a big fan of qemu, a virtual pc emulator, but found very hungry on system resources. I have also used VMware which I found a better product. This site helps you create VMware compatible disk images to use with VMware player. VMWare player works on both linux and windows. So now you can get the best of both worlds.

You can also convert existing qemu images to VMWare disks. Beyond the Sky shows you how. This site also does.
